Oficina Inglesa prides itself on being able to draw on the technical expertise of skilled craftsmen, who have at their disposal both the skills and techniques of the great woodworkers of the past, and state-of-the-art machinery capable of perfecting the creation of our pieces.

The result is the perfect combination between manual tradition, passed down from generation to generation, and the preciseness of modern machinery that has been responsible for considerable advances in performance.

As well as the attention paid to cuts and grooves at the Oficina Inglesa workshops, we believe that our refined assembly techniques are an important way of increasing the value of the furniture in your home. For us, the way in which a piece of furniture is constructed is as important as its aesthetic beauty. That is because we believe that the sophistication of our products must be present at all stages of their production - from the choice of the wood to the application of paint.

Through a rigorous process of quality control, our team ensures that only woods in perfect condition are selected to be used in our products. And when it comes to materials, diversity is fundamental. We work not only with internationally recognised woods such as Ebony Macassar, and Rosewood, but also with splendid European and Brazilian woods such as French Cherrywood and Brazilian Ironwood – materials which give your piece of furniture a final touch of elegance - the trademark of Oficina Inglesa.

"When we select the wood, we recognise what a responsibility it is - we are not only making a piece of furniture, but offering a lifestyle."
